This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Islitzeralm. The trail is 3.63 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Ströden parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About a quarter of the way into the hike, you will encounter a striking rock formation that adds to the natural beauty of the surroundings.

After hiking for about 1.82 kilometers, you will reach the Islitzeralm alpine hut and restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.24 kilometers, you will find the Waldseilpark Großvenediger, which offers climbing activities for more adventurous hikers.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across several information points, benches, and viewpoints that provide interesting insights into the area's history and geography. Be sure to check out the Bären artwork and the wayside cross along the trail.
