This extremely difficult 16.493 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Punta Fortino. The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way.
Approximately 0.1 km from the start, you will find Rifugio Città di Ciriè, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Continuing on, at around 0.55 km, you will pass by Rocca Venoni, a natural rock formation worth admiring.
About 3.87 km into the hike, you will encounter a memorial called Celso Miglietti, offering a moment of reflection. As you trek onwards, at approximately 6.26 km, you will reach a natural water source, which can be a valuable spot to refill your water supply.
At the halfway point of the trail, around 7.82 km, stands Punta Fortino, a peak with breathtaking panoramic views that make the challenging hike worthwhile. Along the way back, you may encounter more points of interest, such as Lago del Collarin and Laghetto d'Arnas (superiore), offering scenic spots to rest and take in the surroundings.
