Midway through the hike, at around 4.24 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the historic Croce di Ferro, a wayside cross dating back to ancient times. This makes for a great spot to take a breather and soak in the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at approximately 4.8 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Rifugio Ca' d'Asti alpine hut, offering a cozy resting place with stunning views of Mont Cenis Grand Paradis.
