This challenging 9.205-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the picturesque area surrounding Montón de Trigo. The trail starts at the parking area, located very close to the beginning of the route. As you begin your ascent, you will pass by the peak of Cerro Minguete at 3.67 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at 4.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Montón de Trigo, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue your hike, you will come across the spring of Fuente de Majavilán at 0.04 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate.
Midway through the route, at 3.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach the saddle of Collado Minguete, offering a brief respite before continuing on your journey. As you make your way back towards the starting point, you will pass by the shelter of Vivac at 4.41 kilometers from the start, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
The trail also features several other points of interest, including the spring of Fuente del Infante at 2.52 kilometers from the start, the spring of Ojos del Río Moros at 3.97 kilometers from the start, and the saddle of Collado de Marichiva at 1.87 kilometers from the start.
