Hiking : Le Haut du Grumbach

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Le Haut du Grumbach. The trail is approximately 3.08 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 180 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is an out-and-back trail, so you will turn around and retrace your steps to return to the starting point.

As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.39 kilometers from the start, you will see the historic Château de l'Engelbourg, a castle steeped in history. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.36 kilometers, you will encounter L'Œil de la Sorcière, an intriguing attraction worth exploring.

Along the way, you will also pass by Fontaine des Vignerons, a charming fountain located right on the trail at the beginning of your hike. Additionally, there are various parking areas available at different points along the trail for your convenience.

For those interested in nature, there are two water features to admire, one midway through the hike and the other closer to the end. Don't forget to stop by the viewpoint at around 0.28 kilometers from the start to take in the scenic surroundings.
