This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Noespitze area. The trail is 11.516 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 592 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is estimated to take around 4 hours and 8 minutes to complete.
You will start your journey at the Hochtor parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Hochtor saddle, offering a picturesque view of the surrounding natural beauty. About a quarter into the hike, you will come across another saddle, the Weißenbachscharte, adding diversity to your hiking experience.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.76 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Noespitze peak, a perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the area. As you continue on the trail, you will also encounter the Tauernkopf peak and the Rossscharte saddle, each offering unique viewpoints and natural wonders.
Towards the end of the hike, you will pass by the Herbertturm peak, adding another highlight to your journey. Make sure to stop by the information points along the trail to learn more about the area's history and wildlife.
