This extremely difficult 22.346 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Krumlkeeskopf peak. The trail offers a challenging 1344.0 meters of elevation gain, so be prepared for a strenuous adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 2.42 km from the start, you will find Doris Fleisskuchl, a cozy restaurant and alpine hut where you can refuel. Further along the trail at 3.45 km, there is a natural water source for you to replenish your supplies. As you continue hiking, you will come across Hinteres Modereck peak at 8.8 km and Weißenbachscharte saddle at 7.62 km.
Additionally, there are convenient facilities such as parking areas, benches, and historic wayside crosses scattered throughout the route, providing resting spots and points of interest. Make sure to check out Blackys Skihütte at 2.23 km for a memorable dining experience.
The trail will lead you past the breathtaking peaks of Noespitze at 10.39 km and Herbertturm at 9.85 km before reaching the highlight of the hike, Krumlkeeskopf peak at 11.17 km.
