This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Schwarzhorn peak. The trail spans a total distance of 22.661 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2309 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

The hike begins at the Gemmi Luftseilbahn, which you'll find at the starting point. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 7.35 kilometers in, you'll come across the Lämmerenhütte alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Around the 7.32 kilometer mark, there is a water feature for you to explore. And further along at 9.55 kilometers, you'll find another water spot off the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated during the hike and pack enough water with you.

At the 11.33 kilometer mark, you'll arrive at the Schwarzhorn peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the area before heading back on the trail.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter various picnic sites and benches where you can take breaks and refuel. Additionally, there are information points along the trail, providing insights into the local area and landmarks.
