This hiking route will take you through the picturesque Swiss Alps, starting at Eggenschwand and leading to the destination of Winteregghütte. The total distance of the hike is 6.48 kilometers with an elevation gain of 673 meters, making it a moderately challenging trek.

As you begin your journey at Eggenschwand, you will pass by the information point at Rüeggerscher, where you can learn more about the surrounding area. Along the way, you will encounter two drinking water points for you to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.

After about 2 kilometers of hiking, you will reach the alpine hut named Stock, offering a cozy spot to take a rest and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Continuing on the trail for another kilometer, you will find a bench at a scenic viewpoint where you can take in the beauty of the landscape. Finally, after a total of 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the Winteregghütte, a perfect spot to relax and refuel before heading back the same way you came.
