This extremely difficult 14.009-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Flowtrail Leukerbad. With an elevation gain of 950 meters, this trail is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this 5-hour and 37-minute hike will challenge even experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will find a parking area nearby for your convenience. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.37 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a fountain where you can take a quick break to hydrate.
Around the 3.49-kilometer mark, you will find two restaurants, Briand and Alpengruss, where you can refuel with a delicious meal. Further along the trail, at the 6.35-kilometer mark, you will reach a wheelchair-accessible restaurant called Chesa Teretschen with stunning views of the surrounding area.
As you continue your hike, be sure to take in the beautiful scenery from the viewpoint at the 6.35-kilometer mark. Additionally, along the trail, you will find benches and drinking water stations to rest and rehydrate.
Towards the end of the trail, at the 10.91-kilometer mark, you will find various dining options such as Tea-Room Kehr, Sternen, Walliserkanne, and Il Buon Gelato.
