Welcome to the Gemmiweg hiking route! This trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural attractions.

As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Gemmi Luftseilbahn, a popular attraction in the area. It's just a short distance from the start of the trail. You'll also find picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Further along the trail, about midway through, you'll encounter the cave entrance known as "alpha 2." This unique natural feature adds a sense of adventure to the hike.

As you continue on, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. It's a great spot to stop and appreciate the beauty of the area.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll find the Gemmipass saddle, another interesting point along the route. Here, you can take a moment to rest and take in the surroundings.

Throughout the hike, you'll also find benches and information points that provide useful details about the area.

This 8.097-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 1435 meters is considered extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging trek. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper gear.
