This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Laghetti Mazzucchini. The trail is 13.805 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1098 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
You will start your journey at the San Bartolomeo parking area, where you can park your car before embarking on the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several points of interest. Midway through the hike, you will encounter the picturesque Lago Grande, a tranquil lake perfect for a rest break and some stunning views.
Continuing on, you will pass by Lago Piccolo, a smaller lake that adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Along the trail, you will also find the refreshing Tre Laghetti, a series of three small lakes that provide a serene atmosphere amidst the challenging hike.
As you make your way back to the starting point, you can visit the wayside shrine of La Cappella di San Bartolomeo, adding a touch of cultural significance to your outdoor adventure.
