Le Combe is a challenging hiking route that covers a distance of 10.367 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 902 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the route.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a drinking water point after 0.13 kilometers, where you can refill your water bottles. Further along the trail, approximately 0.08 kilometers in, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
At around 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to capture some memorable photos of your adventure.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.38 kilometers, you will encounter Peak, a natural peak that adds to the beauty of the landscape. Additionally, at 4.84 kilometers, you will reach Passo Coupe Trape, a natural saddle along the trail.
Towards the end of the route, at 5.18 kilometers, you will find three peaks - one off-trail and two on the trail. These peaks offer a challenge for hikers looking to explore further.
For accommodation options, Rifugio Vulpot, an alpine hut located 0.15 kilometers from the trail, provides limited wheelchair accessibility. Camp sites are also available 0.02 kilometers away from the trail, with no additional fees.
