This extremely difficult hiking route in the Moray area covers a distance of 16.678 kilometers with an elevation gain of 882 meters, taking an estimated duration of 6 hours and 3 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at the parking area near Coire Cas and leads you through breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Cairngorm Cafe, where you can fuel up before embarking on your journey.

As you continue, you will pass by Loch Avon, a picturesque water body located 6.46 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, at around 5.34 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a beautiful beach area ideal for a rest stop.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 7.22 kilometers from the start, you will find another water feature followed by additional beach spots at 7.0 and 7.0 kilometers respectively. At 7.92 kilometers, there is a beach viewpoint offering stunning scenery.

Towards the end of the trail, at 8.34 kilometers from the start, you will reach another water point. Finally, at 7.67 kilometers and 7.1 kilometers, you will come across more beach locations before heading back on the same route.
