Starting off at the trailhead, hikers will first encounter a parking area, located just 0.136 kilometers from the beginning of the route. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. Continuing onwards, at the 1.09 kilometer mark, you will come across an information point named Serre-Jean, providing some insights about the surroundings.

As you progress further along the path, at the 2.86 kilometer mark, another informational site named Bret will be visible, offering more details about the area. Moving ahead, at 3.32 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Pas de Sagatte, another informative point along the trail. This point would be considered midway through the hike.

At the same location as Pas de Sagatte, there is also a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings, making it a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Finally, at around 3.19 kilometers from the start, there is Montagne de Bret, a peak that you can admire, however veering off the trail is necessary to reach it.
