This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning Highland area, offering a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The 17.147-kilometer trail features a total elevation gain of 465 meters and is estimated to take approximately 5 hours and 7 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located right at the trailhead. Be sure to have all the necessary supplies with you, including plenty of water, as this trail is quite demanding. Approximately 0.26 kilometers into the hike, you will find SuDS, a water feature where you can rest and replenish your water supply.
Further along the trail, at around 7.6 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak known as Càrn an Fhuarain Duibh. This natural landmark offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Highland scenery, making it a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the beauty of the area.
Continuing onwards, at approximately 8.57 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach another peak that provides a different vantage point of the landscape. Make sure to take in the breathtaking views before heading back on the trail.
