This hiking route takes you on a 12.6-kilometer circular journey through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 809 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers. The total duration of this hike is around 4 hours and 56 minutes.
Starting at La Plataforma, you will find a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, approximately 6.2 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a shelter where you can take a rest and refuel at the biergarten nearby.
Midway through the hike, at around the 6.2-kilometer mark, you will encounter various water sources along the trail providing the opportunity to refill your supplies and rehydrate. As you continue, there are more water points along the trail for your convenience.
Along the route, you will discover various peaks such as Morezón, Risco del Faccioso, Cerro de la Cagarruta, and others that offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscapes.
Near the end of the hike, approximately 6.2 kilometers into the journey, you will find another shelter known as Vivac where you can rest and take in the beauty of Canal de la Pluma.
