This extremely difficult 16.838-kilometer circular hike takes you through some challenging terrain in the area of Refugio del Barquillo - Puente de Roncesvalles.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey with a relatively easy section. As you progress, you will encounter Risco Redondo peak around 5.96 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, at 7.71 kilometers, you will reach Cerro de las Lanchas peak, where you can take a moment to rest and admire the scenery.
Midway through the hike, you will come across Portilla de María Olalla saddle at 6.42 kilometers and Peña del Rayo peak at 3.71 kilometers. These points offer a good opportunity to refuel and recharge before continuing on the challenging path.
The trail also passes through Collado de las Yeguas saddle at 5.68 kilometers and other notable peaks such as Collado de las Yeguas and Portilla de María Olalla. These points provide a unique experience for hikers looking to explore the diverse natural beauty of the area.
