This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding El Elefantito. The trail is 4.773 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 427 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you will pass by various points of interest. At just 0.07 kilometers from the start, you will find the parking area "Casa Julián" where you can leave your vehicle. A bit further along, at 0.04 kilometers from the start, there is Hotel El Tranco should you wish to rest or grab a bite to eat. Nearby, at the beginning of the trail, you'll come across a pub called El Jardón de las Delicias, perfect for a post-hike drink.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach Fuente de la Gran Cañada at 1.59 kilometers from the start, a refreshing spring where you can refill your water bottle. Later on, at 2.39 kilometers from the start, you'll find El Elefantito, a peak with stunning views that make the elevation gain worth it.

Along the way, you'll also encounter other points of interest such as El Reloj, a rock formation at 1.3 kilometers from the start, and Casa Julián, a restaurant at 0.07 kilometers from the start.

Before setting out on this hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. And remember, the most important thing is to enjoy the journey and the breathtaking views that El Elefantito has to offer.
