Hiking : foot path to Smrekovec

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey along a footpath to Smrekovec, spanning a distance of 13.974 kilometers with an elevation gain of 874.0 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, you will make your way through the picturesque landscape, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh mountain air. About 6.12 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the alpine hut known as "Dom na Smrekovcu", where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Continuing on, at around 6.99 kilometers from the start, you will come across the peak of "Smrekovec", offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Nearby, there is also a viewpoint where you can stop to admire the scenic vistas.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter several information points providing valuable insights about the area and its history. Make sure to check them out as you make your way towards the summit.

As you approach the midway point of the hike, at approximately 6.58 kilometers from the start, you will find a refreshing spring to replenish your water supply. It's essential to stay hydrated, especially on challenging hikes like this one.

Towards the end of the trail, at about 4.83 kilometers from the start, you will have the opportunity to explore the peak of "Mršni vrh" before making your way back to the trailhead.
