Welcome to the hiking route in the beautiful area of Brezje. This trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.552 kilometers and an elevation gain of 39 meters, perfect for all skill levels.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the charming Alpine hut called Mozirska koča na Golteh, located just 0.33 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local cuisine while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding area.

Continuing on, at about 0.78 kilometers into the hike, you will find Janezov bivak, a shelter where you can rest and refuel before heading back. Nearby, there are also several viewpoints where you can stop and admire the breathtaking scenery of the Alps.

For a unique experience, don't miss the Alpski vrt, an attraction located just 0.06 kilometers from the start of the trail. This spot offers a glimpse into the diverse plant life of the alpine region.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across historical sites such as wayside crosses and information points, providing insights into the cultural and natural heritage of the area.

As you make your way back, take a moment to appreciate the peak of Okence, located just 0.06 kilometers from the start. The panoramic views from this point are truly unforgettable.
