This hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Gasselhütte, starting at the parking area near Windbar Rindbach. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the beautiful Gasselhütte destination.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Windbar Rindbach and Stellplatz Freizeitanlage Rindbach parking areas, ensuring you have a convenient place to leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. From there, the route will take you past the cave entrance and shelter at the cave entrance. As you continue on, you will encounter the refreshing Quelle Aloisbrünndl spring, offering a perfect opportunity to rest and rehydrate along the way.

Further along the trail, you will reach the Gasselkogel peak and the Gasselhöhle cave entrance, providing a sense of adventure and exploration to your hike. As you make your way to the destination, you will pass by the viewpoint at Aussichtsplatz Spitzlsteinalm, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The Gasselnieder saddle provides a unique natural feature along the route, adding to the diversity of the hike. Be sure to replenish your water supply at the drinking water point before reaching the Gasselhütte destination.
