This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding M. Ranzo. With a total distance of 11.607 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1266 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Rifugio Forestale Acqua de Canal at a distance of 3.27 kilometers from the start. This shelter provides a great resting spot for hikers to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Along the way, you will also pass by the Bocca di S. Giovanni, a saddle located 4.48 kilometers from the start, offering picturesque views of the area. Further ahead at 5.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of M. Ranzo, a must-see spot for panoramic views of the region.

For your convenience, there are several drinking water stations located along the trail at various points. It is important to stay hydrated, especially on such a challenging hike. Additionally, there are parking spaces available at the trailhead and other facilities such as benches and information points scattered throughout the route.
