Welcome to the GR20 hiking route! The GR20 is known for its challenging yet rewarding terrain, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you through the beautiful natural scenery of the area. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the informative signs at the beginning of the trail that provide insights into the history and geography of the region.
As you trek along, you'll come across the historic Fort de Vizzavona, situated about a quarter of the way into the hike. This ancient ruin offers a glimpse into the past and is a great spot to take a break and soak in the atmosphere.

Be sure to stay hydrated as you make your way through the rugged terrain. There are water sources available at various points along the trail, such as the waterfall at approximately 2.17 kilometers in.
Although the hike is rated as moderate in difficulty, with an elevation gain of 334 meters over a distance of 4.643 kilometers, it is important to come prepared with suitable footwear and gear. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also advisable.
