This hiking route, known as the Rosenjoch trail, is located in a picturesque area with stunning mountain views. The trail is a circular route, covering a distance of approximately 16.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1367 meters, making it extremely challenging and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area. As you continue, you will pass by the Fischteich, a tranquil water feature located about 2.82 kilometers from the start. Further along, at a distance of 3.45 kilometers, you will encounter another beautiful water spot.
Midway through the hike, around the 7.9-kilometer mark, there is a water feature that is not directly on the trail. As you push forward, you will reach the Seeblesspitze peak at 5.58 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The Grünbergspitze peak is also a notable attraction at 7.3 kilometers into the hike, providing a rewarding vantage point.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 8.06 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rosenjoch peak, the culmination of your journey. Along the way, you will also come across various benches, historic wayside crosses, informational points, and alpine huts like Seapnalm and Vögeler Alm, offering rest and shelter.
