This hiking route takes you through the Berner Voralpenweg area, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is 5.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 515 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, about midway through the hike, you will reach a viewpoint that provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Make sure to take a break at the Bergrestaurant Rinderberg-Spitz, which is located around 2.7 kilometers into the hike.
Continuing on, you will encounter a bench at 2.62 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery. Nearby, there is an information point named Rinderberg, providing insights into the area's history and geography. Further along the trail, you will find another bench at 2.64 kilometers and 2.71 kilometers, giving you opportunities to relax and recharge before reaching your destination.
At the end of the hike, you will reach the Vordere Spitz peak, which offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. As this route is an out-and-back type, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point, passing by the same points of interest along the way.
