This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Chumigalm peak. The trail covers a distance of 8.732 kilometers with an elevation gain of 560 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Chumigalm. About 0.15 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles. As you continue along the trail, you will pass by Gubi saddle at around 2.84 kilometers from the start, offering beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 3.43 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water feature, providing a serene spot to rest and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, at 4.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike - Chumigalm peak. Take in the breathtaking views from the summit before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
