This extremely difficult 15.684-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking destination of Tête de l'âne. Starting at the parking area, you'll embark on a challenging journey with a total elevation gain of 1525 meters.
Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest. Approximately 5.21 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Lac Labarre, a stunning water feature perfect for a rest stop. Further ahead, at around 5.33 kilometers, you'll reach the picturesque Col de la Romeïou.
As you continue your trek, you'll pass by informative spots such as Montagne pour tous, Valsenestre en Valjouffrey, and other information points providing insights about the area.
