This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the peak of l'Arcanier, offering breathtaking views along the way. The 16.456-kilometer trail starts at the Parc national des Écrins parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle without any fees.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Monument aux Morts memorial and the beautiful rock formations at 2.7 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, you'll encounter a scenic water feature at the 6.84-kilometer mark. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the stunning views at Brèche Gary, a natural saddle at 7.95 kilometers from the start.

Continuing on, you'll reach the peak of l'Arcanier at 8.23 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Along the way, you'll also come across informative signage, such as L'Église and Les Coteilles.
