Welcome to the hiking route from Calzada de Caoru to Cabrales! This route offers a moderate challenge with a distance of approximately 6.7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 475 meters. Be prepared to spend around 2 hours and 45 minutes on this scenic journey.

Starting at Calzada de Caoru, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 3.4 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Fuente los Trillos, a beautiful spring where you can take a refreshing break. Further along, at 1.9 kilometers from the start, you will find another spring to replenish your water supply.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter Cruz de Entrejanu, a saddle located 3.1 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surroundings. At around 2.9 kilometers from the start, you will reach another saddle before making your way towards the peaks in the area.

At the peak of one of the mountains, approximately 3.3 kilometers from the start, you will have an opportunity to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape. Make sure to capture this moment amidst nature's beauty.

On your way back, stop by Restaurante El Duje, situated just 40 meters from the trail, to grab a delicious meal. After a fulfilling hike, return to your starting point at Calzada de Caoru.
