Located in a picturesque area, this extremely difficult hiking route to Pico Morea spans a distance of 15.777 kilometers with an elevation gain of 920 meters. The estimated duration for this challenging hike is nearly 6 hours, so be prepared for a long day on the trails.
Starting off at a convenient parking area just at the beginning of the trail, hikers will have easy access to the route. As you venture forth, you'll come across Monte Río, a restaurant located 0.66 kilometers from the starting point, offering a great spot to grab a bite before continuing on your journey.
As you make your way through the rugged terrain, you'll encounter Collado Llanos de Morea, a saddle situated 7.6 kilometers from the start, providing a brief respite before tackling the onward climb towards Pico Morea.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.09 kilometers from the start, you'll find another peak on your path, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings before proceeding.
Towards the latter part of the trail, at around 2.31 kilometers from the starting point, another saddle will greet you, providing a final opportunity to catch your breath before the final ascent to Pico Morea.
