This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural and historic landmarks. The trail is 4.17 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it an easy trek suitable for hikers of all levels.

You will start your journey at the Parking du lac de Saint-Sixte, where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Lac de Saint-Sixte, a picturesque lake located just 0.23 kilometers from the start. This serene spot offers a great place to take in the peaceful surroundings and maybe even have a picnic.

Further along the trail, at 0.76 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the ruins of an ancient structure, adding a touch of history to your hike. Then, at 1.63 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col du Baracuchet, a natural saddle point that provides a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding area.

As you continue on, you will come across the Monument aux Morts and the Plan Ville information point at 0.23 and 0.26 kilometers from the start, respectively. These stops offer insight into the local history and culture, adding depth to your experience.

Your final destination is the Étang des Chartreux, located 2.09 kilometers from the start. This tranquil pond is a perfect place to rest and take in the beauty of the landscape before heading back.
