This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Strada Forestale Zampiero. The trail is 10.064 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 204 meters, and it is expected to take about 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete. The route is classified as difficult due to its length and elevation gain.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Rifugio Larici da Alessio, an alpine hut located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, at 3.27 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source.
Continuing on, at 1.74 kilometers from the start, there is another water source conveniently located on the trail. Remember to stay hydrated during your hike. At 1.77 kilometers, you will come across another water source.
Around the midway point of your hike, at 3.54 kilometers from the start, there are several water sources available for you to refill your water bottles. Additionally, at 4.32 kilometers into the hike, you will find "Il Fontanone," a drinking water spot where you can quench your thirst.
