This extremely difficult 12.051 kilometers circular hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Col de la Pra - Crête NW Grand Colon, offering stunning views and challenging terrain.
Starting at Pré Raymond parking area, you will begin your journey by passing by Les 3 Ruisseaux where you can learn about the area. As you continue on the trail, you will reach Col de la Pra providing a great spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
The hike will lead you to the saddle at Col de la Pra, a natural formation that marks the midpoint of the route. From here, you can admire the landscape before heading towards Le Galeteau peak at 4.52 kilometers from the start.
Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as Grand Colon viewpoint at 3.71 kilometers, offering panoramic views despite being slightly off the main trail. Continuing onwards, you may come across the climbing area at 4.45 kilometers, adding an adventurous twist to the hike.
As you make your way back, you will pass by the water points at 5.34 kilometers and 5.91 kilometers, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the challenging journey. Finally, you will return to the starting point at Pré Raymond parking area, completing the loop.
