This challenging 11.7-kilometer hiking route will lead you to the majestic Rotspitz peak in a beautiful area surrounded by nature. The trail starts at the Rofanseilbahn parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks with you, as this route will take approximately 5 hours to complete.

Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Laklü's Salettl, a cozy pub where you can stop for a drink or a meal before starting your hike. Further along, you'll pass by Alpenhotel Edelweiss, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue your ascent, you'll come across benches scattered along the trail, offering you a chance to take a break and admire the scenery. At the midway point, you'll reach the peak of Rotspitz, where you can soak in panoramic views of the area.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter informational points and historic landmarks such as the memorial of Götz Kron and the wayside cross called Durrakreuz. These points offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area and provide additional interest to your journey.
