This extremely difficult 14.841-kilometer circular hiking route starts at the parking area near Monte Giassiez. The trail offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain, with an elevation gain of 836 meters.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the stunning Lago Nero, located 1.04 kilometers from the trail. Further along, at 0.68 kilometers from the start, you will come across the picturesque Lago Perso. Be sure to take a moment to enjoy the serene atmosphere of these natural wonders.
Around midway through the hike, at 6.78 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Giassiez. From this vantage point, you can admire panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the trail, you will also find amenities such as the Sorgente Fonte Tana Basso for drinking water, as well as several information points and benches for resting and learning about the area.
