This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago di Fontana Fredda. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 4.89 kilometers and an elevation gain of 213 meters, making it relatively easy in terms of difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Capanna Mautino alpine hut, located 1.47 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments before continuing on your journey.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Lago di Fontana Fredda, a picturesque lake where you can relax and take in the serene surroundings. This is a perfect spot for a picnic or simply to appreciate the beauty of nature.
On your way back, you will pass by Lago Perso, another beautiful lake located 0.71 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great opportunity to see more of the natural beauty that this area has to offer.
