Welcome to the Nordwandsteig hiking route! This extremely difficult 13.59 km trail offers a challenging and rewarding experience for hikers looking to test their skills.
Located in a picturesque area, the trail starts with a parking area just 0.01 km from the beginning. As you venture further, at 3.52 km you'll encounter the beautiful Unterer Gaisalpsee lake, a perfect spot to take in the scenery and relax.
Along the way, you'll come across the historic ruins at 3.42 km and the refreshing Oberer Gaisalpsee lake at 4.45 km. For sustenance, the Berggasthof Gaisalpe restaurant awaits you at 1.39 km from the trail.
Further ahead, at 5.45 km, you'll reach the Geißfußsattel saddle providing stunning panoramic views. The trail culminates at the Nebelhorn peak at 6.8 km, where you can visit the Gipfelrestaurant Nebelhorn restaurant.
