Welcome to the Schlappoldsee hiking route! This 9.852-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a challenging hike for outdoor enthusiasts. With an elevation gain of 700 meters, this difficult trail will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
The trail starts at a parking area where you can find the Laiter biergarten and Gasthof Laiter restaurant for some pre-hike fuel. As you begin your journey, you'll find benches along the way to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. About 1.9 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across another bench for a quick break.
Midway through the trail, at around 3.54 kilometers, you'll reach s’Urbar Fellhorn restaurant, perfect for a meal with a view. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by beautiful Schlappoldsee lake, located 4.93 kilometers from the start. Take in the tranquil scenery before heading back.
