This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the Nebelhorn area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 13.587 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1318 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous journey that will last approximately 6 hours and 26 minutes.

Starting the hike, you will find a parking area just 0.01 kilometers from the trailhead. As you make your way, you will encounter notable points of interest such as the Unterer Gaisalpsee at 3.52 kilometers from the start and the Oberer Gaisalpsee at 4.45 kilometers. These serene alpine lakes are perfect spots to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Around the midway point of the trail, at 5.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Geißfußsattel, a natural saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Continuing on, at 6.77 kilometers, you will find the Gipfelrestaurant Nebelhorn where you can refuel and rest before the final stretch to the Nebelhorn peak at 6.79 kilometers.
