Welcome to the Nebelhorn hiking route, a challenging and extremely difficult 13.587-kilometer trail that will take you on a journey through stunning natural landscapes and remarkable points of interest.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area within the first few meters of the hike. As you continue, you will encounter the stunning Unterer Gaisalpsee at around 3.52 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque spot to rest and take in the views.

Along the way, you will find the Berggasthof Gaisalpe restaurant at 1.39 kilometers from the trail, where you can refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

Further ahead, at around 4.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Oberer Gaisalpsee, another beautiful water feature to admire.

As you hike, you will come across various points of interest such as historic ruins, including one at 3.42 kilometers from the start and another at 4.12 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the trail, at 5.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Geißfußsattel, a natural saddle providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Continuing on, you will come across the Nebelhorn peak at 6.79 kilometers from the start, offering a rewarding summit experience.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several waterfalls, benches, information points, and viewpoints, providing opportunities to rest, learn more about the area, and capture memorable moments.

It is essential to note that this hike is extremely difficult, with significant elevation gain and a long distance to cover. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and essentials, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
