This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with a distance of 2.85 kilometers and an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is around 55 minutes.
As you begin your journey on the Hornweg trail, you will come across the "Säge" parking area at the start of the trail. Approximately 0.99 kilometers into the hike, you will find a bench to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at about 1.3 kilometers in, you will spot an information point called Horn-Café, as well as the historic wayside cross. These are great spots to learn more about the area and its history. There is also a bench nearby to relax and take in the views.
At 1.36 kilometers, you will come across an attraction that is slightly off the trail, followed by more information points including Hornkapelle, Hornweg, and Hornstraße, each providing valuable insights about the surroundings.
As you reach the end of the trail at 1.43 kilometers, you will find a water source where you can replenish your supplies before heading back.
