This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful Winterweg area, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a convenient parking area before heading towards a rocky outcrop about 1.45 kilometers into the hike. This spot provides a great opportunity to take in the surrounding natural beauty. As you continue on, you'll come across another parking area around the 1.78 kilometer mark, where you can take a break if needed.
Around 1.75 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Burgberger Hörnle, a peak that offers panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to stop and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, you'll encounter the Alpe Weiherle restaurant around the 0.05 kilometer mark, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across several information points and benches where you can take a rest and learn more about the area. Keep an eye out for the Geologisch botanischer Lehrpfad, a geological and botanical educational trail around the 0.03 kilometer mark.
As you near the end of the route, you'll pass by a memorial and more benches, providing a peaceful place to rest before making your way back. Don't forget to check the forecast before heading out and make sure to bring plenty of water, as this challenging 3.559 kilometer hike with 549 meters of elevation gain will definitely work up a sweat.
