The Salmseiner Wald hiking route is a super easy trail that spans approximately 1.275 kilometers with an elevation gain of 39.0 meters. The overall duration of this out-and-back trail is around 23 minutes and 33 seconds.

Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, hikers will find themselves surrounded by the lush greenery of the Salmseiner Wald area. As you venture further into the trail, you will come across a water source about midway through the hike, providing a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate.

Continuing on, you'll reach the picturesque Gfliererweiher lake, a perfect spot to take in the natural beauty and maybe snap some photos. If you're feeling hungry on your way back, you'll find the Stanglerhof restaurant just a short distance off the trail.
