This hiking route is an out-and-back trail in a scenic area with a distance of approximately 1.459 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters. The total duration for the hike is around 25 minutes, making it super easy in terms of difficulty.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a viewpoint called "Mirador Sur" located just 0.01 kilometers from the start. Further along, about 0.23 kilometers into the hike, you will reach another viewpoint called "Mirador principal" offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter the "Acceso Cerro Amigo" attraction, situated right on the trail at a distance of 0.01 kilometers from the start. This spot is perfect for a quick break or photo opportunity. Additionally, there are picnic sites available at two locations along the trail, one at 0.01 kilometers and the other at 0.23 kilometers from the start, providing a great place to rest and refuel.
For those driving to the trailhead, there is a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the route. Another noteworthy point of interest is the "Mirador Norte" viewpoint, positioned 0.73 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the area.
Towards the end of the trail, hikers will find a bench to relax and take in the surroundings. Lastly, at a distance of 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as "Cerro Amigo", which provides a rewarding end to the hike with stunning panoramic views.
