This extremely difficult 12.742-kilometer circular hiking route around Frauenkogel offers breathtaking alpine views and challenging terrain. Starting at the Wanderparkplatz parking area, you will begin your journey towards the peak of Frauenkogel.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:
- Planitzenhütte, an alpine hut located 3.28 km from the start of the trail.
- Grubhofhütte, a restaurant and accommodation option at the same distance as Planitzenhütte.
- Grußberghütte, another alpine hut 3.27 km from the trailhead.
- Bruder Klaus Berg-Kapelle, a historic wayside shrine located 1.09 km from the start.
- Frauenkogel, a peak that you will reach at kilometre 6.16.
- Gräfinsitz, a viewpoint 1.32 km into the hike.
- Edelweiß-Palfen, a rock formation 4.83 km into the hike.

The route also includes various facilities such as benches for resting and information points to learn more about the area. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this trail involves significant elevation gain of 1412 meters.
