This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful Rocher de Bellevarde area, offering stunning views and a total distance of 9.492 kilometers with an elevation gain of 951 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 4 hours and 34 minutes, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
Starting off at the P1 Parking de Bellevarde, you will embark on your journey towards Rocher de Bellevarde. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you'll find the Face de Bellevarde parking area, followed by the La Peau de Vache restaurant at 1.79 kilometers into the trail. Feel free to grab a bite to eat to fuel up for the rest of the journey.
Further along the route, you'll encounter the Rocher de Bellevarde peak at 4.75 kilometers, as well as a memorial and a viewpoint called Table d’orientation nearby. These spots offer a perfect opportunity to take a breather and appreciate the stunning surroundings.
As you make your way back, you can stop by the Restaurant du Bellevarde around the 4.28-kilometer mark and Chez Paolo at the 0.02-kilometer mark for some well-deserved refreshments.
