This extremely difficult circular hiking route in Val-d'Isère covers a distance of 16.578 kilometers with an elevation gain of 990 meters, taking approximately 6 hours and 18 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will embark on a challenging journey through the picturesque surroundings. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:
- Approximately 5.67 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point.
- At around 0.91 kilometers into the hike, you will find a climbing area.
- A beautiful waterfall named Cascades les Pissets can be seen at 4.78 kilometers from the beginning.
- A camping site, "Bivouac sauvage," is located 1.86 kilometers into the trail.
- There are two springs along the way, one at 2.34 kilometers and the other at 4.96 kilometers from the start.
- A saddle point called Col de la Rocheure, located at 7.91 kilometers from the start, offers stunning views but is slightly off the trail.
Additionally, there is a water source 7.91 kilometers into the hike to refill your supplies.
