Welcome to the hiking route in Val-d'Isère, a challenging and extremely difficult 16.578-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 990.0 meters. This route will take approximately 6 hours and 18 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a long and strenuous trek.
As you embark on this journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find "Cascades les Pissets," a beautiful waterfall located 4.78 kilometers from the start. Take some time to admire the cascading water and snap some photos before continuing your hike.
Midway through the trail, at 7.91 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles and take a short break. This is a perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate before tackling the rest of the route.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, around 4.96 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter another spring for a quick refreshment. Additionally, at 1.86 kilometers from the start, there is a "Bivouac sauvage" campsite where you can potentially spend the night if you wish to break up the hike into two days.
