This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Hochgutegg. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 5.474 kilometers with an elevation gain of 717 meters, so be prepared for a challenging hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Tiroler Hütte, a cozy alpine hut located right by the trail, perfect for a quick break just at the beginning of the hike. Further along the trail, about 1.47 kilometers in, you will find a nice bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the scenery.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 2.07 kilometers, you will encounter a refreshing spring, perfect for refilling your water bottle and re-energizing for the journey back. Additionally, there are several benches scattered along the trail, providing convenient spots to take breaks and soak in the surroundings.
At the end of the trail, at 2.74 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Hochgutegg, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape as a rewarding end to your hike. Before heading out, don't forget to visit Nisslalm, another alpine hut located just 10.070928470695486 meters from the trail, perfect for a post-hike meal or drink.
