This extremely difficult 11.162-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning Plattachsee area. The trail starts at the parking area located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest.
About 0.65 kilometers into the hike, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along, at around the 1.4-kilometer mark, there is a drinking water spot for you to refill your water bottle.
At approximately 2.87 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Stabelealm, a charming alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.
For those interested in more adventurous activities, there are several via ferrata and climbing spots along the trail, such as the Lehner Wasserfall Klettersteig and the Seilbrücke. These spots are located towards the midway point of the hike and offer a thrilling challenge for experienced climbers.
