This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Ternegg peak. The trail spans 10.188 kilometers with an elevation gain of 597 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey that will take around 3 hours and 51 minutes to complete.
Starting at Bodeneck, where parking is available, you will begin your hike with a gradual ascent. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, just 0.13 kilometers in, you will find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. A little further, at 0.14 kilometers, there is an information point to learn more about the area.
As you continue on, at 0.81 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Silvesteralm - Malga San Silvestro, an alpine hut and restaurant where you can refuel and enjoy a meal. Further along the trail, at 2.05 kilometers, the Steinberghütte offers another opportunity to rest and take in the mountain views.
Around the halfway point, at 4.78 to 4.87 kilometers, there are several water sources where you can replenish your supply. These natural water points provide a refreshing break before you continue towards the Ternegg peak.
Near the end of the trail, at 5.09 kilometers, you will reach the Ternegg peak, a notable natural peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.
